It is used in detergent to prevent dirt deposition. The principle is like this: there is electrostatic repulsion between the negatively charged dirt and the charged CMC molecules adsorbed on the top of the fabric. The addition of Fushixin CMC can also effectively thicken and compose the washing slurry or soap liquid.
